DAILY !

We’ve all experienced it! Thank you notes which should be written.

For our birthday, our wedding or at Christmas, we receive gifts given by family and friends. Then, if we are listening to what our mothers taught us, we know that we need to sit down and write a thank you within the week. Do we get busy or do we procrastinate, letting that thank you slip farther and farther back in time until we forget we even received the gift in the first place?

Do we treat God the same way? Daily He gives us gifts. Do we thank Him throughout the day or do we allow days, weeks and years to roll by, taking for granted His good gifts which have our very own name on them?

May we become more sensitive to the gifts He gives daily . . . and may we thank Him the minute we receive and recognize that special something just for us which came directly from His hand.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High.
Psalm 92:1

Heavenly Father, thank You for Yourself most of all. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
