Sometimes we need to recognize when a good cry is coming on. As we find ourselves with tears flooding our eyes, we need to prayerfully step back and take stock of what we have been doing recently.
Let’s ask ourselves: Are we trying to cram too much into our days? Are we getting enough sleep? Are we eating nutritious food? Are we anxious about something?
Yes, let’s have a good cry. While the tears are flowing, let’s go to our heavenly Father who values our tears. Let’s take some time and listen to His counsel. Let’s continue walking closely with Him.
Thou hast kept count of my tossings; put Thou my tears in Thy bottle! Are they not in Thy book? Psalm 56:8
Heavenly Father, sometimes this world seems too much for us. Thank You for creating us as humans so we are able to cry. Please keep my steps walking along Your path even if there are tears in my eyes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
