The Scriptures often encourage us to sing a “new song“. How can this be possible? Most of us can barely carry a tune not to mention putting together an entirely new song.
Think about it for a moment…. Whenever we learn a new lesson from God in our daily lives, don’t we try to put it into words? Whether on paper via a letter or talking with a friend, somehow we try to make that new truth come alive when we share it. Isn’t that, really, singing a “new song”? Not all songs need to be set to musical notes, do they?
Sing to Him a new song…. Psalm 144:9
Heavenly Father, I look to You to set my words to Your music. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
