Perhaps you have a friends like this: They just can’t seem to get their garden harvested each year. They plant early and diligently cultivate day after day, caring for their garden as they do their immaculate home. When it comes to harvesting, however, they just can’t get in gear to do it. Day after day they procrastinate.
They know the Lord is nudging them into action before the vegetables become too ripe. Soon they will be useless. They don't heed but continue to procrastinate.
It makes one wonder - in what areas of our lives do we allow to become too “ripe” - ignoring that nudging to action which comes from the Lord.
Today, when you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts . . . . Hebrews 3:8
Heavenly Father, when something needs to be done, please gently nudge me until I do what You want. Now! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
