BEST PRACTICES

Are you ready for this?

Recently I was looking through a magazine at work having to do with our specialty, packaging. I ran across this quote:
“There are solutions that facilitate the implementation of best practices.”

What are your first thoughts about that statement, besides that it is a bunch of specialized jargon. Do you know what I thought? I thought about the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament - God’s solutions for facilitating the implementation of best practices. Have you read God’s commandments to us lately? If not, they are in Exodus 20 - listed for us so that we know exactly The Solutions for facilitating the implementation of best practices. God knows what is best for us and every other creature on earth. If we follow His solutions, we know that is the best.

Also I thought about Jesus’ many words in the New Testament. “You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.” “Blessed are the pure in heart….” “…be reconciled to your brother.” “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” “…do not be anxious…” His words expand the Ten Commandments into practical, everyday living - He lived the life and He finds pleasure in us when we allow Him to live His life through us. He knows the solutions that facilitate the implementation of best practices - we just need to obey Him.
