The EKG leads were placed on her chest. The machine gave the verdict - there was something unusual spotted on the EKG strip. The cardiologist decided that the chest would have to be opened to find out what was causing the unusual reading.
Surgery was scheduled and the patient found herself praying, committing herself into God’s hands as the seriousness of the surgery was explained to her.
After being wheeled into the surgical suite, anesthesia was administered and the surgeon raised his scalpel to begin A few minutes were needed to reach the heart, well protected by ribs and tissue. As he surveyed the site, he stepped back to ponder his findings. Love poured forth from the patient’s heart - pure love! Nothing else unusual could be found.

Heavenly Father, please purify my heart so that only the qualities which please You will be found in it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
