As the gray days of November and December turn into the brighter days of almost January, as the snow falls, have you looked around your home lately? All of a sudden you seem to be able to SEE - cobwebs in the corner, streaks on the refrigerator, spills on the stove, spots on the walls and lint on the rug. Unable to be seen previously, now with the light shining more brightly, you know that bit by bit each must be dealt with - now that they can be seen.
Have you looked around your life lately? What do you see? Are there specks of dirt on your soul? Is God speaking to you about some areas in your life which previously couldn’t be seen? Is He urging you to take steps to remedy the situations?
Let’s take advantage of the Light - those times when God shines His lamp into the nooks and crannies of our souls.
Let’s go to Him for His help and direction. Let’s go to Him....
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all . . . if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
I John 1:5-7
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Light which searches the hidden areas of my soul. Please help me to see as You see and to obey what it is You would have me to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
